Position: Wellness Advocate
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Wellness Advocate to join our team. As a Wellness Advocate, you will play a vital role in promoting the well-being and health of our animal residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care to animals, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met
- Educate and guide adopters on proper health and grooming practices for their new pets
- Conduct health check-ups and administer vaccinations under veterinary supervision
- Assist in organizing health-related events and workshops to educate the community
- Collaborate with veterinary professionals to ensure high standards of care
Requirements:
- Passion for animals and a strong understanding of the Beauty/Healthcare industry
- Experience in providing care for animals, such as grooming or pet training
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with a diverse range of individuals
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey complex medical information in an accessible manner
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for animals
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
