We Are Hiring: Sustainable Development Engineer

We are looking for a passionate and forward-thinking Sustainable Development Engineer to join our team at Tsitsikamma National Park. As a world-renowned leader in environmental conservation and infrastructural development, we are seeking individuals who are committed to advancing sustainable construction practices and real estate solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

Design and oversee the implementation of eco-friendly construction projects within the park
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and environmental experts to integrate sustainable design principles into all development initiatives
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards, and drive continuous improvement in sustainable development practices
Conduct thorough research on innovative construction technologies and materials to support eco-friendly building processes
Manage and communicate with stakeholders, ensuring a harmonious balance between conservation efforts and development needs
Provide technical guidance on sustainable infrastructure projects and contribute to the park's long-term environmental preservation goals

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in sustainable construction and real estate development
Strong knowledge of eco-friendly building materials, sustainable design principles, and renewable energy systems
Excellent project management and communication skills
Passion for environmental conservation and a deep understanding of sustainable development practices
Ability to adapt to dynamic work environments and a commitment to promoting green initiatives
