Bombardier is seeking a dedicated and accomplished individual to join our team in Quebec, Canada. As an Environmental Sustainability Specialist, you will play a crucial role in spearheading our initiatives to minimize environmental impact and maximize sustainability throughout every aspect of our operations.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable practices in product development, manufacturing, and overall company operations.
Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability principles into business decisions and processes.
Evaluate and recommend innovative green technologies and solutions to reduce our carbon footprint.
Lead efforts to obtain and maintain environmental certifications and accreditations for our products and facilities.
Engage in outreach programs to raise awareness of environmental issues and advocate for sustainable practices within and outside the organization.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven track record of successfully driving sustainability initiatives within the aviation/aerospace industry or similar high-tech manufacturing sector.
Deep understanding of environmental regulations and standards, as well as emerging sustainability trends and technologies.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mobilize others towards environmental stewardship.
Strong analytical and project management abilities, coupled with a results-driven mindset.
