Position: Environmental Research Specialist

We are looking for an individual with a deep commitment to environmental protection and a strong background in scientific investigation to fill our opening for an Environmental Research Specialist. In this role, you will work hands-on with our team to conduct field studies, analyze data, and contribute to the development of innovative conservation strategies, all while abiding by the pristine natural surroundings we aim to protect.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute ecological research projects with a focus on conserving the unique biodiversity of the Jura region
Collaborate with local stakeholders to implement sustainable environmental practices
Analyze data derived from fieldwork and laboratory experiments to inform conservation and ecological management decisions
Contribute to the publication of research findings and support educational outreach initiatives in the community

Qualifications:

Advanced degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, or related field
Proven experience in ecological research, preferably within a relevant industry or academic setting
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams, both in the field and in laboratory settings
Strong communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders and representing the organization in public forums
