Overview:

StageOne Family Theatre is seeking a driven and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Legal Compliance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Your primary focus will be on legal matters, including contract management, risk assessment, and policy development.

Responsibilities:

Reviewing and drafting contracts to ensure legality and compliance
Conducting legal research to stay informed about relevant laws and regulations
Assessing and managing organizational risk through policy development and implementation
Collaborating with internal teams to address legal concerns and provide guidance
Developing and delivering compliance training programs to staff
Staying updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
Proven experience in legal compliance or a related area
Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex legal issues effectively
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Proactive and able to work independently
Relevant legal certifications or additional qualifications are a plus
