Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to serve as a Regulatory Compliance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the university complies with relevant laws, regulations, and policies. You will play a critical part in identifying and mitigating legal risks while facilitating our commitment to ethical conduct and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough reviews of university procedures and practices to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Collaborate with internal departments to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
Provide guidance on legal and regulatory matters, keeping abreast of changes in relevant laws and advising on their potential impact.
Develop and conduct training programs to educate staff and faculty on compliance requirements.
Investigate and address reports of potential compliance violations.
Monitor and report on compliance-related issues, and make recommendations for corrective actions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business Administration or Public Policy.
3+ years of experience in a compliance, regulatory, or related legal role.
Demonstrated knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and compliance best practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Professional certification in compliance or related field is a plus.
