Louisville Metro Office of Youth Development is seeking an experienced and dedicated Executive Operations Manager to lead our Protection Services team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the safety and security of our community, with a focus on youth development and protection.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee protection operations within our organization, ensuring the safety and security of all youth-related activities and events.
Develop and implement strategic security protocols and safety procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Manage a team of security professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain a high standard of performance and professionalism.
Collaborate with external agencies, law enforcement, and community partners to enhance security measures and address potential concerns effectively.
Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement, and take proactive steps to mitigate potential security threats.
Handle emergency response situations efficiently, demonstrating excellent decision-making skills and maintaining composure under pressure.
Review and update security policies and procedures in response to changing security landscapes and emerging threats.

Key Requirements:

A proven track record in a security, military, or related field, with at least 5 years of managerial experience.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team building, mentorship, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Strong knowledge of security best practices, emergency response protocols, and risk management strategies.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, including youth, staff, and external partners.
Proficiency in developing and implementing security plans, utilizing technology and resources to maximize protection outcomes.
Certification in relevant security and risk management programs is preferred.
