We are seeking a Community Wellness Coordinator who will play a key role in fostering connections between local communities and the region's natural beauty. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to promote a healthy and active lifestyle in a way that celebrates inclusivity and cultural diversity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and organize community wellness events and activities that embrace a variety of cultural backgrounds
- Collaborate with local organizations and sports groups to create inclusive fitness and outdoor programs
- Empower diverse communities to engage in health and wellness practices, promoting accessible and inclusive fitness opportunities for all
- Establish relationships with local leaders and influencers to advocate for active living and fitness within the community
Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for promoting fitness and well-being within a multicultural environment
- Experience in community engagement, event coordination, or related fields
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with individuals from various cultural backgrounds
- An understanding of the importance of inclusivity and diversity within health and wellness initiatives
- Proficiency in French and English, additional languages are a plus
