Emblem Curator
Thurgauische Kunstgesellschaft seeks a passionate and innovative individual to join our team as an Emblem Curator. This position calls for a creative mind with a deep understanding of historical and contemporary symbols, aesthetics, and visual storytelling.
Responsibilities:
- Research and curate a diverse collection of historical and contemporary emblems, symbols, and visual narratives.
- Develop and implement exhibition concepts and presentation strategies for emblem-based artworks.
- Collaborate with artists, historians, and collectors to acquire emblematic pieces for display.
- Contribute to the development and curation of educational programs focusing on emblematic art and its cultural significance.
- Engage with the local and international art community to promote awareness of emblematic art forms and their impact on society.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Art History, Visual Arts, or related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in emblematic art, symbolism, and visual culture.
- Proven experience in curatorial projects or art management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
- A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for art preservation and promotion.
