STIWA Holding GmbH is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Animal Care and Well-being Specialist. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and happiness of our beloved companions, promoting their well-being and providing essential care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive well-being programs tailored to specific needs of animals
- Monitor and assess individual animal health, behavior, and welfare
- Collaborate with experts to advance our understanding of animal care
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of animal care standards
- Provide guidance and support to fellow team members regarding animal well-being
- Ensure compliance with regulations and ethical practices
- Conduct regular inspections of animal habitats and living conditions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science, Zoology or related field
- Proven experience in animal care and well-being
- Deep understanding of animal behavior and physiology
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for promoting animal welfare and ethical treatment
- Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment
