Responsibilities:

Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate legal and regulatory requirements into business processes
Monitor changes in laws and regulations, and advise management on necessary actions
Manage relationships with external legal counsel, regulatory agencies, and other relevant stakeholders
Provide training and support to employees on compliance matters
Prepare and submit required regulatory filings and reports

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
Proven experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or related legal fields
Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting our industry
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively to non-legal stakeholders
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Fluency in both English and French is required
