NORMANDY ASSOCIATION OF CULTURAL HERITAGE ADVOCATES is seeking a motivated and dynamic professional to join our team as an Innovation & Sustainability Specialist. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the preservation of cultural heritage while promoting innovation and sustainability within Normandy's local communities.

Your Role:

  • Research, analyze, and develop innovative strategies to improve sustainability within the local community, focusing on the intersection of cultural heritage and environmental conservation.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders, government bodies, and organizations to implement sustainable practices while respecting Normandy's cultural heritage.
  • Contribute to the design and management of projects that promote renewable energy, efficient resource utilization, waste reduction, and ecological restoration.
  • Engage in community outreach programs to raise awareness about the importance of sustainable practices and encourage active participation.
  • Identify funding opportunities, prepare grant applications, and assist in fundraising efforts to support sustainable initiatives.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in sustainable technologies and practices, and effectively communicate these findings to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the field of sustainability or environmental conservation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build partnerships and engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Passion for cultural heritage, sustainability, and a deep understanding of the environmental challenges faced by local communities.
