We are seeking an avid problem-solver to join our team in Namur! Do you have a passion for creating a sustainable future and the drive to make a real impact? Namur Community Environmental Stewardship is looking for an Environmental Innovation Specialist to propel our mission forward.

As an Environmental Innovation Specialist, you will be at the forefront of driving change, developing novel solutions to environmental challenges, and overseeing the implementation of forward-thinking initiatives. Your role will involve close collaboration with diverse stakeholders, from community leaders to environmental experts, to shape our efforts and drive meaningful progress.

Responsibilities:

Identify, assess, and address environmental issues within the community
Design and implement innovative sustainability strategies
Collaborate with local agencies and stakeholders to drive environmental impact
Develop and manage eco-friendly projects and initiatives
Evaluate and optimize the environmental impact of community initiatives

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Proven track record of initiating and implementing environmental projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
An innovative mindset and a passion for sustainability
