Position: Heritage Outreach Coordinator

Location: Nakuru, Kenya

Overview:

Work closely with local communities and stakeholders to create engaging outreach programs that highlight the significance of cultural heritage
Organize and supervise educational initiatives, workshops, and events that aim to raise awareness about the rich cultural history of Nakuru and its surrounding areas
Collaborate with schools, NGOs, and governmental bodies to develop interactive exhibits and activities that promote heritage preservation and appreciation
Drive initiatives aimed at preserving and promoting traditional crafts, music, and storytelling

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, History, Cultural Studies, or related fields
Demonstrated experience in community engagement, event coordination, or educational outreach
Passionate about preserving cultural heritage and fostering community involvement
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to think creatively and develop innovative programs
Proficiency in English and Swahili
