Exciting Opportunity: Community Engagement Manager
Here at Egilsstadir Community Soccer Club, we are dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals in our vibrant, multicultural community. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Manager.
As the Community Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for fostering relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and diverse cultural groups. Your role will focus on developing strategic partnerships that promote inclusivity and engagement within our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community outreach initiatives to enhance participation and involvement in our programs and events.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with businesses, organizations, and community leaders to expand the reach of our soccer club.
- Create and manage inclusive events that celebrate the diverse cultures within our community.
- Coordinate volunteer efforts to support community projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that all messaging is culturally sensitive and inclusive.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in community engagement or partnership development.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Understanding of multi-cultural dynamics and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
- Proven track record of successful project management in a community-focused setting.
- Passion for soccer and a deep appreciation for the impact it can have on community unity and engagement.
