As a Craftsmanship Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and production of bespoke items that bring comfort and joy to the families we serve. You will collaborate closely with our creative team, manage material sourcing, and ensure the highest quality standards are met.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artisanal work, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead a small team of artisans. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and creation of bespoke items, personalized keepsakes, and special mementos for children and families.
- Oversee the production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timeliness.
- Manage a small team of skilled artisans, inspiring excellence and creativity.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop new ideas and concepts for unique items.
- Source materials and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality inputs.
- Adhere to health and safety standards and promote a positive working environment.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of crafting processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in artisanal work, crafting, or bespoke production.
- Ability to lead and inspire a small team and work collaboratively with a creative team.
- Demonstrated passion for creating unique, handcrafted items with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Understanding of sourcing and managing quality materials for crafting purposes.
