Training and Development Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our vibrant team at Open Door Crisis Care Centre in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. At our center, we embrace diversity, inclusivity, and the value of ongoing learning and growth within our workforce.
Role Overview:
- Design and implement training programs tailored to various cultural and community needs
- Collaborate with management to identify and address skill gaps
- Develop and deliver engaging educational materials and resources
- Assess the effectiveness of training initiatives and adjust strategies as needed
- Support employees in their professional development and career advancement
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify learning priorities
- Create and maintain a dynamic, inclusive learning environment
- Implement training plans to enhance cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Organize and facilitate workshops, seminars, and educational sessions
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of training efforts
- Provide mentorship and guidance to employees in their career development
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Human Resources, or related field
- Proven experience in designing and implementing training programs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
