Gröna Lund is seeking a Sustainable Development Engineer to join our team in Östergötlands län, Sweden!
Are you passionate about creating innovative solutions that not only drive forward the efficiency of our systems but also align with our commitment to sustainable practices and environmental protection? We are looking for an experienced professional to take on the responsibility of designing, implementing, and maintaining green IT solutions for our amusement park. Your work will play an integral role in reducing our carbon footprint and increasing our eco-friendly initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainable software solutions aligned with best environmental practices
- Collaborate with our development teams to integrate green principles into our technology stack
- Research and evaluate new methods and technologies for sustainable IT development
- Continuously optimize our IT infrastructure to ensure minimal impact on the environment
- Advise and mentor stakeholders on sustainable IT practices and policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in sustainable software development or related environmental IT projects
- Strong understanding of green computing principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and software development tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
