Position Available: Sustainable Mobility Advocate

Namur Community Cycling Advocacy is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Sustainable Mobility Advocate. As a part of our organization, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the development of sustainable transportation solutions and advocate for cycling initiatives within the Namur region.

Responsibilities:

Engage with local government bodies and community stakeholders to promote cycling as a viable and sustainable mode of transportation
Develop and implement advocacy strategies to improve cycling infrastructure and safety measures
Educate and raise awareness about the benefits of cycling and sustainable mobility
Collaborate with local businesses and organizations to promote cycling-friendly initiatives
Participate in the planning and execution of community cycling events and programs

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in urban planning, environmental studies, public policy, or a related field
Experience in advocacy, community engagement, or sustainable transportation initiatives
Demonstrated passion for promoting sustainable mobility and cycling advocacy
Strong communication and networking skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
