Job Description: We are in search of a vibrant and dedicated individual to join our esteemed KZN Blind and Deaf Society Community Choir as a Wellness Facilitator. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing wellness programs aimed at boosting the physical and mental well-being of our members through engaging activities.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement innovative wellness programs tailored to the unique needs of our community
Conduct fitness and wellness sessions focusing on strength, endurance, flexibility, and overall physical health improvement
Coordinate outdoor activities, sports, and recreational events to promote a healthy lifestyle
Educate and guide choir members on nutrition, mindfulness, and holistic wellness practices
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of all participants
Maintain a positive and inclusive environment that encourages active participation from all members

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in delivering wellness or fitness programs, preferably within a community setting
Passion for promoting holistic well-being and a healthy lifestyle among individuals with diverse abilities
Ability to adapt fitness routines to accommodate varying levels of physical and sensory abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to motivate and inspire others
Certification in fitness instruction, personal training, or a related field is highly advantageous
