Position: Animal Wellness Specialist

At Alpargatas, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and promoting the well-being of our beloved animal companions. As an industry leader in Extremadura, Spain, we are seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Animal Wellness Specialists.

Job Description:

Provide high-quality care and ensure the welfare of our animals
Design and implement tailored wellness programs
Assess and monitor animal health
Coordinate and administer appropriate treatments and medications
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in animal facilities
Support the development of training programs for both animals and caregivers
Collaborate with veterinarians and other professionals to ensure the overall well-being of animals

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role
A genuine passion for animal welfare and a deep understanding of animal behavior
Knowledge of nutrition, anatomy, and common diseases
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
Certification or degree in a related field is preferred
