Job Summary:

Hannover Airport, a leading organization in Lower Saxony, Germany, is currently seeking a dedicated and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Professional Environmental Solutions Manager. As part of our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, this position will play a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative solutions to optimize energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Responsibilities:

Research, identify, and implement energy-saving strategies to meet regulatory requirements and improve overall operational efficiency
Develop and manage environmental initiatives, including waste management, recycling, and emissions reduction programs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate potential environmental risks
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental standards and regulations
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in energy and environmental management
Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies and management regarding environmental performance and achievements
Provide training and education to internal stakeholders on environmental policies, procedures, and goals
Maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and regulatory agencies

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in energy management, environmental planning, or related field
In-depth knowledge of energy efficiency, renewable energy systems, and environmental regulations
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Effective communication and presentation abilities
Proficient in relevant software applications and tools
Fluency in both written and spoken English and German
