Position: Deputy General Counsel
Job Summary:
- Provide legal counsel and strategic guidance to the Executive Branch
- Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of complex issues
- Develop and review legal documents, contracts, and policies
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Represent the Executive Branch in legal proceedings, negotiations, and hearings
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active member of the Nebraska State Bar Association
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal role
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
