Position: Deputy General Counsel

Job Summary:

Provide legal counsel and strategic guidance to the Executive Branch
Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of complex issues
Develop and review legal documents, contracts, and policies
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Represent the Executive Branch in legal proceedings, negotiations, and hearings

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active member of the Nebraska State Bar Association
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal role
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
