Cheniere Energy is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Environmental Stewardship Manager. At Cheniere, we are deeply committed to environmental conservation and sustainability, and we are looking for a talented professional to help us further our goals in these areas.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement environmental stewardship programs to minimize the environmental impact of our operations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and standards
- Identify and support initiatives aimed at reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business decisions and practices
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in environmental stewardship
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental management
- Demonstrated understanding of environmental regulations and reporting requirements
- Strong project management and leadership skills with a focus on driving environmental initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven track record of implementing successful environmental programs
