As a Scientific Research and Analysis Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving our mission to promote and enhance tourism experiences in Catalonia. Your expertise will contribute to the development of innovative strategies and initiatives that will elevate Catalonia’s position as a premier tourist destination.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in the tourism industry.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather and interpret data, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
Develop and implement methodologies for collecting and processing scientific data related to tourism and travel.
Produce detailed reports and presentations that communicate research findings and recommendations effectively.
Stay abreast of industry developments, constantly seeking new ways to improve existing processes and drive innovation.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field.
Demonstrated experience in scientific research, data analysis, and interpretation.
Proficiency in statistical analysis software and data visualization tools.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner.
Strong collaborative spirit and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Fluency in English and Spanish; Catalan language skills are a plus.
