We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our growing team in Louisville Metro's Office of Advanced Planning, elevating innovation and expertise in our community. As part of our collaborative and forward-thinking environment, we are excited to announce a new opening for a Community Engagement Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engagement strategies to connect with local communities and stakeholders.
Organize and oversee community events geared towards urban development and revitalization.
Utilize creative approaches to foster relationships between the city and its residents through immersive experiences and cultural initiatives.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of public spaces that promote active lifestyles and community interaction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
Proven track record of successful community involvement or event coordination.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
Passion for urban development and a keen interest in creating vibrant, inclusive communities.
