Join Our Team: Health and Wellness Advocate Position

We are seeking passionate individuals to join our team at the National Cancer Institute (INT) Milan in a role that promotes health and wellness. As a Health and Wellness Advocate, you will be involved in coordinating and implementing programs that encourage healthy lifestyles and physical activity, recognizing the impact these have on overall well-being. The right candidate will possess a deep understanding of the importance of physical fitness and its direct correlation to improved health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute initiatives that promote physical activity and healthy living within our community.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to organize health and fitness-oriented events and workshops.
  • Advocate for and support individuals in adopting and maintaining healthy habits through education and mentorship.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of wellness programs and provide regular reports on their impact.
  • Conduct research on the latest trends in health and wellness, offering insights to enhance our programs.
  • Engage with diverse groups to raise awareness of the importance of fitness and its positive impact on cancer prevention and overall health.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Public Health, Nutrition, or Exercise Science.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing health promotion programs, preferably within a community setting.
  • An understanding of the significance of physical activity on health outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for empowering others to make positive lifestyle changes.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and community members.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to advancing health and wellness on a broader scale.
