Our mission is to educate and inspire the community to implement eco-friendly practices and protect our natural resources. As part of our efforts, we are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join us as an Environmental Education Program Coordinator.

Role Overview

As the Environmental Education Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing environmental education programs for diverse audiences, including schools, community groups, and local businesses. You will work closely with educators, develop curriculum materials, organize workshops, and lead initiatives that promote environmental stewardship and conservation.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute comprehensive environmental education programs
Create engaging educational materials and resources
Collaborate with schools and community organizations to integrate environmental education into their curricula and activities
Lead workshops and field trips to local ecological sites
Advocate for environmental sustainability through partnerships and outreach programs
Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, collecting feedback and making data-driven improvements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or related field
Proven experience in environmental education or program coordination
Passion for environmental conservation and sustainability practices
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and community members
Fluency in French and English is required
