Position Available: Environmental Emergency Response Specialist
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and respond to environmental emergencies, including natural disasters, industrial accidents, and hazardous material spills
- Assess and mitigate environmental risks in collaboration with local authorities and environmental agencies
- Develop and implement emergency response plans to protect natural habitats, water sources, and wildlife
- Lead training sessions for staff and first responders on best practices in environmental emergency response
- Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about environmental hazards and emergency preparedness
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Emergency Management, or related field
- Prior experience in emergency response, environmental protection, or related fields
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, risk assessment, and emergency planning
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to remain calm and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
