Position: Alpine Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Alpine Sustainability Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving forward our mission of researching and implementing sustainable practices within alpine agriculture and rural landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting research on sustainable farming practices suitable for alpine regions
Developing and implementing strategies to promote biodiversity and ecological balance
Collaborating with local communities to integrate traditional knowledge with modern sustainable practices
Evaluating the impact of climate change on alpine agriculture and proposing adaptive measures
Contributing to the development of environmentally friendly agricultural technologies

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture, or related field
Proven experience in sustainable agriculture, preferably within alpine or mountainous regions
Strong understanding of ecological systems, biodiversity, and climate change
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams
Proficiency in relevant data analysis and research methodologies
