Position: Alpine Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Alpine Sustainability Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving forward our mission of researching and implementing sustainable practices within alpine agriculture and rural landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting research on sustainable farming practices suitable for alpine regions
  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote biodiversity and ecological balance
  • Collaborating with local communities to integrate traditional knowledge with modern sustainable practices
  • Evaluating the impact of climate change on alpine agriculture and proposing adaptive measures
  • Contributing to the development of environmentally friendly agricultural technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture, or related field
  • Proven experience in sustainable agriculture, preferably within alpine or mountainous regions
  • Strong understanding of ecological systems, biodiversity, and climate change
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in relevant data analysis and research methodologies
