Kymenlaakso Foundation for Environmental Conservation is seeking a passionate and innovative Nature Experience Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Nature Experience Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting sustainable tourism and environmental conservation in the breathtaking region of Kymenlaakso.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop nature-based experiences that showcase the natural beauty of Kymenlaakso
- Collaborate with local stakeholders to create and implement sustainable tourism initiatives
- Educate visitors about environmental conservation and the importance of preserving natural habitats
- Conduct wildlife observation tours and organize outdoor activities that align with conservation efforts
- Assist in the development of marketing strategies to promote eco-friendly tourism in Kymenlaakso
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Tourism Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in developing and leading nature-focused tourism experiences
- Passion for environmental conservation and sustainable tourism practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English and Finnish; additional languages are a plus
