Wellness Specialist Job Description:

Provide support and guidance to promote overall student and staff wellness
Develop and implement wellness programs to support the physical and mental health of students and staff
Collaborate with other team members to develop holistic wellness initiatives
Conduct wellness assessments and develop individualized wellness plans for students and staff members
Educate and advocate for wellness and mental health within the school community
Coordinate with community resources to enhance wellness initiatives
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs and activities
Participate in professional development to stay current on wellness and mental health trends

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
Experience in creating and implementing wellness programs preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Passion for promoting wellness and enhancing the overall well-being of students and staff
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Relevant certifications are a plus
