We are looking for a Heritage Experience Curator!
Are you passionate about the cultural history and traditions of Vesturland, Iceland? Do you have a deep appreciation for artisanal craftsmanship and local heritage? If so, Vesturland Artisanal Brewery has an exciting opportunity for you!
As a Heritage Experience Curator, you will be responsible for crafting immersive experiences that showcase the rich cultural legacy of our region. Embracing the essence of our brewery and the surrounding landscapes, you will design and lead tailored tours, tastings, and events that captivate visitors from around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute engaging heritage tours and workshops
- Create compelling narratives to highlight the historical significance of our brewery and the Western Region
- Collaborate with local artisans and vendors to integrate traditional crafts and practices into the visitor experience
- Conduct educational sessions on the art of brewing and the evolution of local flavors
- Customize and organize events that celebrate Vesturland's unique cultural heritage
Requirements:
- A fervent enthusiasm for preserving and promoting cultural heritage
- Proven experience in tourism, event planning, or heritage curation
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- A keen eye for detail and an innovative mindset
- Fluency in English and Icelandic; additional languages are an asset
