Are you passionate about sustainability, innovation, and making a positive impact on the environment? PEI Brewing Company is seeking a talented individual to join our team in a role that focuses on harmonizing the intersection of resource utilization and ecological stewardship.
Position: Eco-Sustainability Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainable practices throughout the brewery, minimizing energy consumption and waste production.
- Evaluate and optimize the brewery's environmental footprint through innovative initiatives and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable strategies into all aspects of brewing operations.
- Conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with industry environmental standards and regulations.
- Research and recommend alternative energy sources and eco-friendly materials for brewery processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in implementing energy efficiency and environmental sustainability initiatives.
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards and best practices in environmental management.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution.
- Passionate advocate for sustainable business practices and environmental stewardship.
