Position Available: Community Health Outreach Specialist

As a Community Health Outreach Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting wellness and providing essential care within our diverse community. Your work will involve collaborating with local organizations and community leaders to enhance access to healthcare and resources for individuals and families with health disparities, including those with beloved animal companions.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
Organize and oversee health education events and programs
Implement strategies to address health disparities and increase health equity
Advocate for culturally competent and inclusive healthcare practices

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in public health, social work, or a related field
Experience in community outreach and engagement
Understanding of the unique healthcare challenges faced by diverse cultural communities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for promoting health equity for all community members, including pets and their owners
