We are excited to announce an opportunity to work with the Appenzell Ausserrhoden Wildlife Conservation Society in our mission to protect and sustainably manage wildlife and natural resources in the region. We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Conservation Research Analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and statistical analysis on local wildlife populations and their habitats.
- Assist in identifying and evaluating trends in biodiversity and environmental conservation efforts.
- Collaborate with field experts and government agencies to gather relevant data for analysis.
- Produce comprehensive reports and contribute to the development of conservation strategies based on research findings.
- Participate in public outreach programs to raise awareness about wildlife conservation efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Ecology, or Wildlife Biology.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, research methodologies, and statistical tools.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present research findings and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for conservation and a commitment to environmental sustainability.
- Proficiency in relevant software and analytical tools.
