Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the flow of artistic materials, ensuring timely deliveries, and supporting the gallery's logistical operations without directly using the terms 'logistics' or 'transportation.'

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with artists and suppliers to streamline material sourcing and delivery processes.
  • Develop and implement efficient supply chain strategies to enhance the gallery's operational effectiveness.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements across the supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for art material transportation and storage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, vendor relations, or materials sourcing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for process optimization.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Understanding of environmental and safety considerations related to art material transport and storage.
