We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team at the Louisiana Department of Health - Office of Aging and Adult Services - Region 22. As a Community Development Coordinator, you will play a critical role in fostering growth and progress in our rural communities, supporting the health and well-being of our aging population.

Under the leadership of our regional office, you will be responsible for spearheading initiatives that promote sustainable living, engage local agricultural communities, and enhance the overall quality of life for our residents. Your role will involve collaborating with local stakeholders, coordinating educational programs, and developing strategies to empower rural areas.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for community outreach, possess excellent communication skills, and have a keen understanding of the agricultural landscape in our region. You will be a catalyst for positive change, driving impactful programs aimed at improving the livelihoods of our older citizens while bolstering the agricultural backbone of our community.

Key Responsibilities:
