Honda Manufacturing of Alabama is looking for talented individuals to join our Sustainable Innovation Team. We are dedicated to fostering innovative approaches to sustainable manufacturing and promoting eco-friendly processes within our operations.
Position: Environmental Practices Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize environmental impact in the production process.
- Collaborate with various department heads to integrate sustainable practices into all facets of manufacturing.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.
- Act as a liaison with community and environmental organizations to promote sustainable initiatives.
- Conduct regular environmental impact assessments and recommend improvements to minimize ecological footprint.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in environmental management practices within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams towards sustainable objectives.
- Passion for environmental stewardship and a drive to make a meaningful impact.
