Position Available: Culinary Experience Coordinator
As a Culinary Experience Coordinator, you will have the unique opportunity to curate and organize engaging events and culinary experiences that underscore the importance of sustainable living and healthy eating practices. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with local chefs, farmers, and nutritionists to develop innovative culinary programs that promote the integration of locally sourced, organic ingredients into our courses and events.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute culinary workshops, tastings, and interactive events aimed at promoting sustainable gastronomy and environmental consciousness.
- Create partnerships with local eco-friendly food suppliers and producers to ensure the use of ethically sourced ingredients.
- Assist in developing educational materials and resources to raise awareness about sustainable cooking and nutritional practices.
- Support the college in advocating for a more sustainable approach to food preparation and consumption, aligning with the principles of environmental responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in event coordination, preferably within culinary or food-related initiatives.
- Demonstrated understanding of sustainable food practices and a strong commitment to environmental conservation.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
