Role Overview
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance community engagement.
- Cultivate partnerships with local media outlets and entertainment venues to promote regional events and initiatives.
- Create compelling content for various platforms to captivate and inform our diverse audience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align engagement efforts with the council's overall objectives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of engagement activities and adapt strategies as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in event promotion, media relations, or community outreach.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
- Adept at utilizing digital media and marketing tools for engagement purposes.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage projects effectively.
- Possess a deep understanding of local culture and community dynamics within Queensland.
