Welcome to North West Parks Board - Pilanesberg, where we are dedicated to preserving and promoting the diverse wildlife and ecosystems of the region. We are currently seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Learning Experience Specialist.

As a Learning Experience Specialist, you will have the opportunity to create and develop educational programs and materials that inspire a love for nature and conservation. Your role will involve collaborating with park rangers, educators, and subject matter experts to design engaging and impactful learning experiences for students and visitors.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement interactive educational programs for diverse audiences, including school groups, families, and tourists.
Develop educational materials such as curriculum guides, activity sheets, and multimedia resources.
Facilitate workshops, guided tours, and hands-on learning experiences within the park.
Partner with local schools and community organizations to promote environmental awareness and conservation efforts.
Conduct training sessions for park staff and volunteers on environmental education best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Environmental Science, Ecology, or Biology.
Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering educational programs, preferably in a nature or conservation-related setting.
Passion for environmental stewardship and a commitment to fostering a love for the natural world.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
