Position Overview

As an Animal Care Specialist at Voll Bedehus, you will play a crucial role in tending to the needs of the animals under our care. Your responsibilities will include feeding, grooming, exercising, and providing companionship to the animals, all while adhering to our established care protocols. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment within the facility to ensure the well-being of both animals and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Provide daily care and attention to animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercise
Monitor and maintain the health and well-being of animals
Assist in administering medications, as directed by the veterinary team
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene within animal living spaces
Engage in play and social interaction with the animals to promote their mental and emotional well-being
Document and report any changes in animal behavior or health

Qualifications

Prior experience in animal care, such as working in shelters, veterinary clinics, or similar settings
