Enterprise Community Partners is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Development Specialist. As we continue to expand our reach and impact across Maryland, we are looking for an individual who shares our commitment to community development and social progress.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with local communities to develop and implement strategic plans for sustainable development initiatives.
- Collaborate with government agencies, nonprofits, and other stakeholders to drive impactful change.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify opportunities for community improvement.
- Lead workshops and training sessions to empower community members with the necessary skills for sustainable development.
- Advocate for policies that promote affordable housing, economic equity, and community revitalization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Public Policy, Sociology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in community engagement, project management, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Passion for addressing the challenges communities face and driving meaningful change.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, diverse, and fast-paced environment.
