Excursion Experience Curator

We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to join Western Kenya Dairy Farmers Cooperative Union as an Excursion Experience Curator. As an Excursion Experience Curator, you will be responsible for crafting immersive and unforgettable experiences that showcase the rich cultural heritage, scenic landscapes, and unique attractions of Western Kenya.

Job Responsibilities:

Design and develop engaging excursion itineraries that highlight the natural wonders and cultural diversity of Western Kenya.
Coordinate with local communities, guides, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of excursions.
Create compelling promotional materials and content to attract visitors and promote excursion experiences.
Deliver exceptional customer service by catering to the diverse needs and interests of participants.
Monitor and evaluate excursion programs to maintain high quality and continuously enhance the visitor experience.
Cultivate relationships with partners and stakeholders to expand and enrich the range of excursion offerings.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to uphold the standard of excellence in excursion experiences.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Cultural Tourism, or a related field.
Proven experience in designing and coordinating tourism, cultural, or nature-based experiences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Proficiency in creating engaging content for promotional purposes, including social media and marketing materials.
Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A deep appreciation for the cultural and natural wealth of Western Kenya, demonstrated through prior involvement in community-based initiatives or projects.
