Are you passionate about fostering community engagement and promoting an active lifestyle? Join Egilsstadir Community Science Club as a Community Engagement Coordinator and play an essential role in connecting our organization with the wider community.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement outreach programs to encourage sports science education and community involvement
- Organize and oversee community sports events and entertainment activities
- Collaborate with local schools, businesses, and organizations to promote sports science awareness
- Coordinate and facilitate partnerships with sports professionals and enthusiasts
- Create engaging content for our digital platforms to promote community interactions and events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience in community engagement, event planning, or related areas
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for sports, entertainment, and community involvement
- Ability to work independently and within a team
