We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team at the Rogaland Department of Social Services in Norway. As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization operates within the legal framework and adheres to all relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

Conducting thorough reviews of existing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements
Developing and implementing compliance programs to mitigate risk and maintain adherence to regulations
Collaborating with internal teams to provide guidance on legal matters and compliance issues
Monitoring changes in laws and regulations and advising on necessary adjustments to policies and practices
Preparing and delivering training sessions to educate staff on compliance-related matters
Investigating and addressing any compliance violations or concerns
Participating in audits and inspections to assess compliance levels
Keeping abreast of industry best practices and evolving regulatory requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Proven experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the public sector or social services
Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with diverse teams
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of integrity and professionalism
Proficiency in Norwegian and English languages
