We are seeking a passionate Precision Systems Engineer to join our team at Anglo American Platinum in Western Cape, South Africa. As a Precision Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining specialized technical systems that support our mining operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and exceptional performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing precision navigation and control systems to optimize the performance of mining equipment.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate cutting-edge technological solutions into our aviation-related operations.
Conducting thorough testing and validation of precision systems to ensure reliability and accuracy under diverse environmental conditions.
Providing technical expertise and support in the continuous improvement of airborne systems utilized in our mining activities.
Participating in the research and development of advanced airborne technologies to elevate operational efficiency and safety standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in the design and implementation of precision systems, preferably within the aviation or aerospace sector.
Familiarity with advanced software tools for simulation, modeling, and data analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
