Position: Community Well-being Coordinator

We are seeking a Community Well-being Coordinator to drive innovative solutions within the Northern Cape region. This unique role involves facilitating community outreach programs aimed at improving the overall well-being of our community's members, animal companions included.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote the welfare of animals within our communities.
  • Collaborate with local organizations and community leaders to design impactful initiatives.
  • Educate and advocate for responsible pet ownership and wildlife conservation efforts.
  • Assess community needs and develop tailored programs to address them.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make adjustments as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences, animal science, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in community engagement or social development projects.
  • Passion for animal welfare and a deep understanding of related social issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically about community needs and resources.
