We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our team in the beautiful Eastern Region of Iceland as our Community Wellness Coordinator. At Borgarfjordur Community Yoga Center, we are committed to promoting holistic wellness and mindfulness in a dynamic, community-focused environment.
Role Overview:
- Develop and implement innovative wellness programs tailored to the needs of our diverse community
- Coordinate and lead yoga and meditation classes, ensuring a high standard of instruction and guidance
- Collaborate with local businesses and organizations to expand our reach and impact in the region
- Contribute to marketing initiatives and assist in expanding our membership base
- Maintain a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere within the center
Qualifications:
- Certification and demonstrated expertise in yoga instruction and holistic wellness practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in community engagement and event planning
- Possess a creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for promoting well-being
- Keen understanding and appreciation for local culture and traditions in Iceland
